PDSoI FinFET-based LIF Neurons for SNNs

Overview:
We critically analysed a paper that implement an LIF neuron for use in spiking neural networks [1]. The paper used Silvaco ATLAS to model and optimize a 100nm PDSoI FinFET for generating spikes using the impact ionisation mechanism. We presented our analysis in front of a class of 30 and discussed the positives and negatives of the paper.
